Rotating Hairy Black Holes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2000
We construct stationary black holes in SU(2) Einstein-Yang-Mills theory, which carry angular momentum and electric charge. Possessing non-trivial non-abelian magnetic fields outside their regular event horizon, they represent non-perturbative rotating ...

On the size of rotating black holes [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
Recently a sequence of inequalities relating the black hole horizon, photon sphere, shadow were proposed for spherically symmetric and static black holes, providing the upper bound for given mass.

Rotating black holes and Coriolis effect

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
In this work, we consider the fluid/gravity correspondence for general rotating black holes. By using the suitable boundary condition in near horizon limit, we study the correspondence between gravitational perturbation and fluid equation.

Rotating Black Holes with Monopole Hair [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2004
We study rotating black holes in Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs theory. These black holes emerge from static black holes with monopole hair when a finite horizon angular velocity is imposed.

Rotating dilaton black holes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1992
It is shown that an arbitrarily small amount of angular momentum can qualitatively change the properties of extremal charged black holes coupled to a dilaton. In addition, the gyromagnetic ratio of these black holes is computed and an exact rotating black string solution is presented.

Rotating “black holes” with holes in the horizon [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2006
Kerr-Schild solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell field equations, containing semi-infinite axial singular lines, are investigated. It is shown that axial singularities break up the black hole, forming holes in the horizon. As a result, a tube-like region appears which allows matter to escape from the interior without crossing the horizon.
