Charged rotating black holes in equilibrium [PDF]
Axially symmetric, stationary solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations with disconnected event horizon are studied by developing a method of explicit integration of the corresponding boundary-value problem. This problem is reduced to non-leaner system of algebraic equations which gives relations between the masses, the angular momenta, the angular ...

Extremal vacuum black holes in higher dimensions [PDF]
We consider extremal black hole solutions to the vacuum Einstein equations in dimensions greater than five. We prove that the near-horizon geometry of any such black hole must possess an SO(2, 1) symmetry in a special case where one has an enhanced ...

Regular Rotating Black Holes: A Review
The collapse of astrophysically significant bodies generates, under suitable conditions, black holes. Since one expects the generator of the black hole to be a rotating body, the black hole will also rotate.

We study the orbital and oscillatory motion of test particles moving around slowly rotating first and second kinds of Einstein–Æther black holes. In relation to the black hole parameters, we find analytical solutions for the radial profiles of specific ...

In this paper, we investigate the topological numbers of rotating charged AdS black holes in both four- and five-dimensional gauged supergravity theories. Our analysis is conducted within the framework of the thermodynamical topological approach to black

Fragmentation of AdS5-Kerr black holes
Black hole spacetimes asymptotic to five-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime are of great interest in connection with the string-gauge duality. In the rotating case, such black holes tend to become unstable, in several different ways, if their specific ...

On rotating black holes in DHOST theories [PDF]
Using the disformal solution-generating method, we construct new axisymmetric solutions in Degenerate Higher Order Scalar Tensor (DHOST) theories. The method consists in first considering a "seed" known solution in DHOST theories and then performing a disformal transformation of the metric to obtain a new solution.

Towards multi-center AdS black holes [PDF]
openIn the last decades interest in black holes with an anti-de Sitter asymptotic behaviour has been renewed, mainly thanks to the possibilities opened by the gauge/gravity correspondence.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Anisotropic matter and nonlinear electromagnetics black holes
It is shown that anisotropic matter black holes with two parameters w and K correspond to nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) black holes with power-index s and charge term $$\xi (s,q)$$ ξ ( s , q ) by introducing a NED term.
