Molten‐Volcanic‐Ash‐Phobic Thermal Barrier Coating based on Biomimetic Structure
The laser‐ablated (Gd0.9Yb0.1)2Zr2O7 (GYbZ) pellet and plasma spray physical vapor deposition GYbZ coating demonstrate volcanic ash phobicity at 1200 °C. The results highlight that the biomimetic hierachical structure consisting of microconical papillae with aspect ratio of 1.10 ± 0.15 and regularly distributed nanoparticles makes great contributions ...

To study the effects of the ratio of air injection pressure to hydrogen injection pressure (pR = pA/pH) on the propagation characteristics of rotating detonation waves (RDWs) and the working range of continuous rotating detonation engines (CRDEs), experiments were conducted under different injection pressure ratios and air mass flow rates with hydrogen

Low-Order Model for Detonation Velocity Suppression in Rotating Detonation Combustors
A Rotating Detonation Combustor (RDC) is a novel pressure gain combustion device, in which a detonation wave processes steadily around an annulus. It has been experimentally observed that detonation waves in the RDC propagate slower than the idealized Chapman- Jouguet (CJ) speed (as low as approximately 60%) and with lower than expected peak pressures.

Hybrid Modeling Method of SDR Interstage Valve Based on Mechanism and Data‐Driven
Variable‐throat adjustment is the most practical flow regulation method of solid ducted rocket ramjet (SDR). The high‐fidelity mathematical model of the interstage valve is the basis for realizing high‐precision gas flow and thrust regulation. In this paper, the complex effect of gas was divided into load and throat deformation effect.
