The Attenuation of a Detonation Wave by an Aircraft Engine Axial Turbine Stage [PDF]
A Constant Volume Combustion Cycle Engine concept consisting of a Pulse Detonation Combustor (PDC) followed by a conventional axial turbine was simulated numerically to determine the attenuation and reflection of a notional PDC pulse by the turbine.

Performance analysis of turbocharger effect on engine in local cars [PDF]
The performance of a gasoline-fueled internal combustion engines can be increased with the use of a turbocharger. However, the amount of performance increment for a particular engine should be studied so that the advantages and drawbacks of turbocharging

Velocity Structure and Variability of [O III] Emission in Black Hole Host Globular Cluster RZ2109
We present a multi-facility study of the optical spectrum of the extragalactic globular cluster RZ2109, which hosts a bright black hole X-ray source. The optical spectrum of RZ2109 shows strong and very broad [O III]\lambda \lambda 4959,5007 emission in ...

The spiral conical perforations generated during methane in situ explosion fracturing operations lead to tensile fracture propagation in shale reservoirs being governed by the combined effects of impact pressure, bedding, and aperture under explosive loading. Using multiple regression analysis and digital image correlation technology, the mechanisms of

NOx formation processes in rotating detonation engines
High-fidelity simulations of RDEs with H2-Air-NOx chemistry are employed to study NOx emissions in such devices. Discrete injection of gaseous hydrogen fuel and continuous injection of air oxidizer is used at various mass flow rate conditions in several 3D RDE simulations to understand resulting NOx production behaviors.

Aligned Electrospun Composite Electrolyte. The resurgence of solid‐state Na+ battery, sustained through lithium deficiency and mounting costs, offers an auspicious alternative to solid‐state Li+ battery. This study introduces a nanoarchitectural approach that integrates electrospinning with a simple solution casting technique to develop a mechanically ...

Scour‐Conditioned Seismic Fragility Analysis of Monopile‐Supported Offshore Wind Turbines
ABSTRACT Monopile‐supported offshore wind turbines (MS‐OWTs) are increasingly deployed in seismic coastal regions, where they face compound risks from earthquake loading and seabed scour. While past studies have addressed these hazards separately, seismic fragility under evolving scour conditions remains insufficiently understood. This study introduces
