The borate‐based cobalt‐iron catalyst promotes selective oxidation of water rather than chlorine evolution reaction during electrolysis of seawater. When integrated into a zero‐gap electrolyzer prototype, this catalyst supports robust splitting of artificial seawater into oxygen and hydrogen on an extended timescale.

Spin‐State Modulation of Atomic Iron Sites Enables Efficient CO2 Electroreduction in Acid Medium
An axial oxygen ligand was added to shift the spin state of the single‐atom Fe site from low to medium spin. This change reduces the interfacial interaction with H3O+ and decreases the *CO desorption energy, thus enhancing CO2RR in acidic media.

Screening of redox couples and electrode materials [PDF]
Electrochemical parameters of selected redox couples that might be potentially promising for application in bulk energy storage systems were investigated. This was carried out in two phases: a broad investigation of the basic characteristics and behavior

CFD modeling and sensitivity‐guided design of silicon filament CVD reactors
Abstract Filament‐based chemical vapor deposition (CVD) for silicon (Si) coatings is often treated as an adaptation of planar deposition. But this overlooks fundamental shifts in transport phenomena and reaction kinetics. In filament CVD, the filament acts as a substrate, heat source, and flow disruptor simultaneously. In this work, we ask: What really

The electrocatalysis of dopamine has been studied using a cobalt hexacyanoferrate film (CoHCFe)-modified glassy carbon electrode. Using a rotating disk CoHCFe-modified electrode, the reaction rate constant for dopamine was found to be 3.5 × 105 cm3 ...

We discovered novel materials with giant dielectric constants by combining first‐principles phonon calculations and machine learning. Screening 525 perovskites identified six candidates. RbNbO3 was synthesized under pressure and showed ε ≈ 800–1000. This validates our framework as a powerful tool for high‐performance dielectric materials discovery.

Objective Cerebral ischemic stroke causes neuronal oxygen/energy deprivation, disrupting mitochondrial function including reduced membrane potential and bioenergetics, exacerbating neuronal injury. Mitochondrial defects are, therefore, a central neuropathological node and potential therapeutic target.

Estimation of the effectiveness factor of an outer-sphere redox couple (Fe3+/Fe2+) using rotating disk Ti/IrO2 electrodes of different loading [PDF]
The effectiveness factor; E f , defined as the fraction of the surface that participates effectively in a given reaction, is an important parameter when operating three-dimensional (3D) electrodes. The rotating disk electrode (RDE) technique with the Fe3+
