Study on the influence of the rotational speed of polishing disk on material removal in aspheric surface compliant polishing

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
When a soft polishing tool is compressed on a stiff workpiece of curved surface, the contact area is a piece of the curved surface. In the process of aspheric surface polishing, the machining speed is always provided by the rotational speed of the ...

One Pulse Vector Control Inverter Control Design for Fast Train Traction Motor Torque Control

open access: yesJurnal EECCIS (Electrics, Electronics, Communications, Controls, Informatics, Systems)
Current technology is increasingly developing, one of which is inverter control for high-speed train traction motor drives. Currently, the train driver is an AC electric motor. Inverters typically operate in the high-speed region.

Fuzzy Gain Scheduled-Sliding Mode Rotational Speed Control of an Oscillating Water Column

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The generated power of Oscillating Water Columns (OWC) based on Wells turbines is limited due to the stalling behavior. Therefore, this paper presents the modeling of an OWC and a rotational speed control using a novel Fuzzy Gain Scheduled-Sliding Mode ...

Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Rotational speed control of magnetic coupling with variable damping method

open access: yes, 2020
Permanent Magnetic Coupling (PMC) is used in underwater vehicle to transmit torque from the motor to propeller without leakage and friction. Output rotational speed stability of PMC is an important index indicating the PMC output makes smaller vibration.

Generic maximum power point tracking controller for small-scale wind turbines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The output power of a wind energy conversion system (WECS) is maximized if the wind rotor is driven at an optimal rotational speed for a particular wind speed. To achieve this, a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller is usually used.

Motion control for uniaxial rotational molding

open access: yes, 2021
Motion control parameters of rotational molding can affect process efficiency and product quality. Different motion control schemes will lead to varied powder flow regimes exhibiting different levels of mixing and temperature uniformity.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

SNAP 2 POWER CONVERSION SYSTEM. ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL. Topical Report No. 18 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1962
The rotational speed control for the SNAP 2 power conversion system employs the concept of controlling speed by electrically loading the alternator. Speed is controlled in this manner to plus or minus 1% of nominal. This report covers work performed from
