This rapid review and meta‐analysis found that exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is associated with a 43% reduction in diarrhoea risk in infants aged 0–6 months. These results highlight EBF's role in preventing childhood diarrhoea, supporting WHO guidelines to exclusively breastfeed for the first 6 months and promoting global child health goals.
