Abstract During the T119 bistatic radar (BSR) experiment, the Cassini spacecraft observed a collection of lakes in Titan's Northern Lake District. Specular reflections from liquid surfaces were clearly detected at X‐band ground‐based station DSS‐43 (Canberra), spaced out by sudden drops of power in correspondence to solid terrains.

ABSTRACT This paper studies the dynamic stall characteristics of thick flatback and nonflatback wind turbine airfoils. Two airfoils with a maximum thickness of 35%$$ 35\% $$ were studied, with trailing edge thicknesses of 2%$$ 2\% $$ and 10%$$ 10\% $$, respectively.

ABSTRACT This article presents the first ever fully autonomous UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) mission to perform gas measurements after a real blast in an underground mine. The demonstration mission was deployed around 40 min after the blast took place, and as such realistic gas levels were measured.
