We show how engineered ancestral amide bond synthetases (ABSs) together with cofactor recycling using a single polyphosphate kinase paves the way for chemoenzymatic synthesis of pharmacophores. The figure illustrates how ancestral ABS has a more flexible C‐terminal domain, which is associated with enhanced catalytic performance and expanded amine scope.

Coarsening of Disordered Quantum Rotors under a Bias Voltage
We solve the dynamics of an ensemble of interacting rotors coupled to two leads at different chemical potential letting a current flow through the system and driving it out of equilibrium.

This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,

Accurate computer simulations of the rotational dynamics of linear molecules solvated in He clusters indicate that the large-size (nano-droplet) regime is attained quickly for light rotors (HCN, CO) and slowly for heavy ones (OCS, N$_2$O, CO$_2$), thus ...

This work shows, for the first time, that the stereocilia membrane in cochlear hair cells is dynamically regulated by the mechanotransduction channel to impact the membrane mechanical properties. This work provides direct evidence that the opening and closing associated with the MET channel is regulating the membrane viscosity suggesting that the MET ...

Comparative study of inner and outer rotor bearingless synchronous reluctance motors
In this study, the authors presented a systematic design procedure of outer rotor bearingless synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM). The proposed motor is compared with an already prototyped inner rotor bearingless SynRM at different operation points.

Electro-mechanical vibratory system [PDF]
The problem of predicting the phase angle of two self-synchronized rotors starting from rest is presented. It is shown that with insufficient power the rotors may not reach the final operating speed of the motors and stay locked at one of the lower ...
