Using NielsenIQ data for over 77 million transactions, there is evidence of divergence in food tastes across regions from 2007 to 2016 and across households of different income, education, and race/ethnicity groups.

As a first attempt, we obtain the boundedness of the rough fractional Hausdorff operator on variable exponent Herz-type spaces. The method used in this paper enables us to study the operator on some other function spaces with variable exponents.

Log-PDE Methods for Rough Signature Kernels

Signature kernels, inner products of path signatures, underpin several machine learning algorithms for multivariate time series analysis. For bounded variation paths, signature kernels were recently shown to solve a Goursat PDE. However, existing PDE solvers only use increments as input data, leading to first order approximation errors.
