Equivariant configuration spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The compression theorem is used to prove results for equivariant configuration spaces that are analogous to the well-known non-equivariant results of May, Milgram and ...

Rank p ? 1 mod-p H-spaces

open access: yes, 2012
Different constructions by Cooke, Harper and Zabrodsky and by Cohen and Neisendorfer produce torsion free finite p-local H-spaces of rank l < p ? 1. The first construction goes through when l = p ? 1 and we show the second does as well.

Universal Abelian H-spaces

open access: yes, 2012
The question of the existence of universal homotopy commutative and homotopy associative H-spaces (called Abelian H-spaces) is studied. Such a space T(X) would prolong a map from X into an Abelian H-space to a unique H-map from T into X. Examples of such

Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Roxarestat in Regulating Renal Anemia in Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of roxarestat versus recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) in the management of renal anemia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods This was a prospective, open‐label, randomized controlled trial.

Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Semilinear Poisson problems in Sobolev-Besov spaces on Lipschitz domains

open access: yes, 2002
Extending recent work for the linear Poisson problem for the Laplacian in the framework of Sobolev-Besov spaces on Lipschitz domains by Jerison and Kenig [16], Fabes, Mendez and Mitrea [9], and Mitrea and Taylor [30], here we take up the task of ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
