Securing IoT communication: a module-LWE key exchange protocol with efficient error reconciliation technique

open access: yesDiscover Internet of Things
The widespread use of Internet of Things devices alongside advances in quantum computing presents urgent challenges for secure communication. RSA and ECC have become inadequate, prompting the need for Post-quantum Cryptography (PQC). This work introduces

Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Reply to Comment on ‘Self-thinning forest understoreys reduce wildfire risk, even in a warming climate’

open access: yesEnvironmental Research Letters
Our previous analysis of mapped records of forest fires in National Parks in Southwestern Australia showed that fires initiated a pulse in flammability (the likelihood of a point being burned by wildfire), but that flammability declined as forests ...

On some estimations of deviations between real solution and numerical solution of dynamical equations with regard for Baumgarte constraint stabilization

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
The numerical solution of a system of differential equations with constraints can be unstable due to the accumulation of rounding errors during the implementation of the difference scheme of numerical integration.

Stable Protein‐Based G‐Quadruplex‐Derived Supramolecular Bioinks as Tunable ECM‐Mimetic Constructs Assembled by Combining Non‐Covalent and Covalent Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

Thermally Modulated Metasurface Sensor for Dynamic and Time‐Resolved Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermally adaptive plasmonic metasurface, functionalized with poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) and anti‐CD63 antibodies, enables precise, on‐demand capture and release of extracellular vesicles (EVs). Delivering high recovery, improved purity, and intact vesicle structure, the platform offers a versatile, label‐free solution for real‐time EV ...

Single Crystals of Perylene Diimide‐Based Two‐Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Synthesizing extended crystals of two‐dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs) has remained a major challenge. Here, we report a high‐temperature double‐modulator strategy that provides access to new perylene diimide (PDI)‐based COFs with crystal sizes of up to 50 µm.

Computing a Correct and Tight Rounding Error Bound Using Rounding-to-Nearest

open access: yes, 2017
When a floating-point computation is done, it is most of the time incorrect. The rounding error can be bounded by folklore formulas, such as ε|x| or ε| o (x)|. This gets more complicated when underflow is taken into account as an absolute term must be considered. Now, let us compute this error bound in practice.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.
