Abstract There is an interest in soybean oil enriched with oleic acid and reduced linolenic acid to improve oil functionality. The soybean breeding program at the University of Missouri‐Fisher Delta Research, Extension, and Education Center has developed and released soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] ‘S18PR‐190 HOLL’ (Reg. no. CV‐567, PI 708613).

Food for Thought: Genetically Modified Seeds as De Facto Standard Essential Patents [PDF]
For several years, courts have been improperly calculating damages in cases involving the unlicensed use of genetically-modified (GM) seed technology. In particular, when courts determine patent damages based on the hypothetical negotiation method, they ...

Functional synergy and genomic linkage of glyphosate resistance traits in Canada fleabane
Stacking target‐site and non‐target‐site glyphosate resistance mechanisms in Conyza canadensis results in strong synergistic effects. This study quantifies gene × gene interactions and maps linked resistance loci, advancing our understanding of herbicide resistance genetics and informing management strategies.

Yield of Roundup Ready vs. Conventional Soybean Varieties
Many Iowa soybean producers have adopted Roundup Ready (RR) technology on their farms in recent years. Reduced weed control costs, greater flexibility in herbicide application timing, and the potential for “cleaner” soybean fields are often cited as reasons for using RR technology; however, questions remain about potential profit-robbing yield ...

Abstract Climate‐smart agriculture (CSA) practices can support carbon (C) sequestration and microbial communities, yet field‐scale studies about their integrated benefits are limited. This study evaluated the integrated effects on soil health of a softwood pine‐derived biochar (10 Mg ha−1) and cover crop (cereal rye, Secale cereale L.) under a no‐till ...
