Secure Location-Aided Routing Protocols With Wi-Fi Direct For Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Communication Networks and Information Security, vol. 12, no. 1, pp. 10-18, Apr. 2020, 2017
Secure routing protocols are proposed for the vehicular ad hoc networks. The protocols integrate the security authentication process with the Location-Aided Routing (LAR) protocol to support Wi-Fi Direct communications between the vehicles. The methods are robust against various security threats.

Bioresorbable and Wireless Rechargeable Implanted Na‐ion Battery for Temporary Medical Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐solid‐state bioresorbable Na‐ion battery is developed, composed entirely of bio‐eliminable materials. In vivo and ex vivo tests confirmed harmless disintegration of this implanted battery. Lifetime of the implanted battery can be precisely controlled by adjusting the dissolvable encapsulation layer's thickness.

Local Flooding-Based on-Demand Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper proposes a local flooding-based on-demand routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks to reduce the flooding overhead and offers effective alternative paths between the source and destination nodes. The proposed protocol first uses overhearing

Anypath Routing Protocol Design via Q-Learning for Underwater Sensor Networks [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
As a promising technology in the Internet of Underwater Things, underwater sensor networks have drawn a widespread attention from both academia and industry. However, designing a routing protocol for underwater sensor networks is a great challenge due to high energy consumption and large latency in the underwater environment.

An Opportunistic Routing for Data Forwarding Based on Vehicle Mobility Association in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesInformation, 2017
Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have emerged as a new powerful technology for data transmission between vehicles. Efficient data transmission accompanied with low data delay plays an important role in selecting the ideal data forwarding path in VANETs.

A cross-layer implementation of Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (AODV) protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are networks which will form the basis for the ubiquitous data access because of their ease of deployment. Due to the dynamic nature of a MANET, routing is one of the most critical elements of MANET.

UML modelling of geographic routing protocol "Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing" for its integration into the "Java Network Simulator" [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and Software Engineering ISSN: 2277 128X Volume 2, Issue 2, February 2012, 2012
In this work we propose an UML modeling of the "Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing" (GPSR) protocol that integrate this geographic routing protocol, into "JavaNetwork Simulator" to simulate and study this protocol in a first time and offer some improvement in these features.
