Single‐Step Conversion of Metal Impurities in CNTs to Electroactive Metallic Nitride Nanoclusters for Electrochemical CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single‐step, low‐temperature co‐pyrolysis process removes encapsulated seed metal NPs (10–50 nm) from CNTs, redistributing them as surface‐anchored metal and metal–nitride NCs (1–1.5 nm). Herein, Ni3N NCs achieve an ultra‐low onset overpotential for CO2 reduction to CO with >98% Faradaic efficiency across 100–700 mA cm−2.

Nanofillers Reinforcing Biopolymer Composites for Sustainable Food Packaging Applications: A State‐of‐the‐Art Review

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Biopolymers are sustainable, biodegradable alternatives to petroleum‐based plastics for food packaging. Its adoption is often limited by poor mechanical strength, barrier properties, and improved thermal stability through the incorporation of nanofillers.

Information-Theoretic Bounds for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks Routing Protocols [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this paper, we define the routing overhead as the amount of information needed to describe the changes in a network topology. We derive a universal lower bound on the routing overhead in a mobile ad-hoc network. We also consider a prediction-based routing protocol that attempts to minimize the routing overhead by predicting the changes in the ...

Perfusable Brain Microvascular Network‐On‐Chip Model to Study Flavivirus NS1‐Induced Endothelial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a microfluidic brain microvascular network‐on‐chip (BMVasChip) to investigate endothelial barrier dysfunction caused by flavivirus non‐structural protein 1 (NS1), including virus‐ and time‐dependent vascular damage, leakiness, and dysfunction.

A NOVEL RESOURCE CONSTRAINT SECURE(RCS) ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2017
Geographic routing protocols are the most preferred routing protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) since they rely on geographic position information. Hence we propose geography based Resource Constraint Secure routing (RCS) protocol.
