A YANG Data Model for the Routing Information Protocol (RIP).

RFC, 2020
This document describes a data model for the management of the Routing Information Protocol (RIP). Both RIP version 2 and RIPng are covered. The data model includes definitions for configuration, operational state, and Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs). The YANG model in this document conforms to the Network Management Datastore Architecture (NMDA).

Spatially Disjoint Multipath Routing protocol without location information

2008 33rd IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN), 2008
Multipath routing permits the discovery and use of multiple paths between a source and a destination. We develop a distributed on-demand multipath routing protocol for MANETs capable of finding spatially disjoint paths without location information. The use of spatially disjoint routes in multipath routing is important due to the non-interfering nature ...

Analysis of VANET security based on routing protocol information

2013 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing (ICICIP), 2013
VANET is new kind of Ad hoc. It is widely used in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), which has many characteristics as large scale network, fast moving nodes, the frequently changing topological structure and easily divided networks. Therefore, routing protocol design must fully consider of this characteristics with much node information that ...

A vector-based improved geographic information routing protocol

2017 7th IEEE International Conference on Electronics Information and Emergency Communication (ICEIEC), 2017
With the popularization and increase of vehicles, the development of VANETs (Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks) has been promoted. GPSR (greedy perimeter stateless routing) is a geographic information routing protocol applied to vehicular ad-hoc networks. This paper analyzes the shortcomings of the traditional GPSR routing protocol and proposes an improved ...

The Implementation of Routing Information Protocol Porting to the Switching System

2015 Seventh International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2015
In this paper, according to the principle and timing diagram of Routing Information Protocol, the routing information update function is ported to the switching system. The RIP function module is divided into five sub-modules, and the most important sub-module is command parser.

Energy Balance Routing Protocol Based on Location Information

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
For the current routing algorithm based on the geographic location information, the energy consumption is high and uneven. To address the problem, we propose an energy balance routing protocol (GEBR) based on the geographical location information, using a virtual sink technology to balance the node energy consumption within the scope of gateway ...

An on demand routing protocol AODV with end to end reliability and backward route information

2014 9th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS), 2014
AODV protocol is a comparatively more popular on demand routing protocol in mobile ad hoc networks. However, reliability in terms of data communication is not much satisfactory in traditional AODV. This paper presents an AODV with end to end reliability (AODV-EER).

Border Gateway Routing Protocol Convergence Time Analysis with Minimum Route Advertisement Information

2010
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the default routing protocol for the routing between autonomous systems in the Internet. BGP’s convergence time is mainly dependent on the Minimum Route Advertisement Interval (MRAI) value, But the influence of this MRAI value on the router’s resources is not yet understood well enough to improve the existing ...

A Destination and Moving Direction Information Based Probabilistic Routing Protocol for VANETs

2016 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2016
This paper proposes a destination and moving direction information based probabilistic routing protocol, called Advanced DIP (ADIP), for vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs). The ADIP protocol uses different strategies for routing and data forwarding in different network scenarios. For a high-density scenario, it only considers the position of a neighbor

A destination information based probabilistic routing protocol for vehicular sensor networks

2013 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2013
This paper proposes a Destination Information based Probabilistic (DIP) routing protocol for vehicular sensor networks (VSNs). In DIP, the destination information of a packet is used to determine candidate neighbors and the moving pattern of a vehicle is used to help select the next hop for forwarding data.
