Wind Erosion as Influenced by Row Spacing, Row Direction, and Grain Sorghum Population

Soil Science Society of America Journal, 1966
Abstract Replicated plots of grain sorghum ( Sorghum vulgare ) with 21‐ and 42‐inch row spacings and three plant spacings within each row spacing were established on Dalhart sandy loam in 1963 and yield data were obtained. In March 1964, four wind tunnel tests were conducted

Production of Cotton on Narrow Row Spacing

Transactions of the ASAE, 1992
Field studies were conducted at Stoneville, Mississippi from 1987-1991 to evaluate cotton production in 0.76 m rows. The five-year average yield increase obtained from 0.76 m rows compared to 1.02 m rows was 6.5% for Bosket very fine sandy loam soil and 8.6% for Dundee silty clay loam soil.

The Effects on Nutrient Content of Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) of Different Row Spacing and Intra-Row Spacing

2018
Thisresearch was carried out to determine effects on some nutrient content ofdifferent row spacing (17.5, 35, 52.5 and 70 cm) and intra-row spacing (10, 20, 30 and 40 cm) of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) in theAgricultural Practice and Research Center of Igdir University in 2017. In theexperiment, CP (Crude protein), NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber),

Narrow row cotton in the Namoi valley. 2. Plant population and row spacing

Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, 1977
Field experiments in three seasons examined the effects of plant population and row spacing on the yield of two cotton cultivars. For the early maturing cultivar, Riverina Poplar, 36 cm rows yielded 18 per cent more than 100 cm rows with no additional benefit being obtained from 18 cm rows. The medium maturing commercial cultivar, Deltapine 16, had the

Feature space versus empirical kernel map and row kernel space in SVMs

Neural Computing and Applications, 2010
In machine-learning technologies, the support vector machine (SV machine, SVM) is a brilliant invention with many merits, such as freedom from local minima, the widest possible margins separating different clusters, and a solid theoretical foundation.
