, 2005 In October 2003, sixteen boats set off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands headed for Barbados 4800 km distant. Each boat was manned by two oarsmen who were competing in the Transatlantic Challenge, an ocean rowing endurance event. This paper describes an optimization model developed for route planning in this event.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, mainly secretes 4‐oxo‐(E)‐2‐hexenal, (E)‐2‐decenal, dodecane and tridecane, a mixture representative of that released by many heteropterans. We demonstrated that H. halys can synthesise these secretory components de novo using dietary glucose.

BCG vaccination potentiates oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal myeloid‐derived suppressor cells
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.BCG vaccination enhances oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal MDSCs, impairing their immunosuppressive function. It upregulates electron transport chain genes and mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP and oxygen consumption. Pharmacological OXPHOS inhibition partially restores suppressive capacity, confirming causality.
