This study assesses the presence, genotypes and clinical signs of E. cuniculi infection in pet rabbits in Slovenia. Molecular analysis reveals the presence of E. cuniculi DNA (Genotype I) in 14.98% rabbit urine samples, mostly in rabbits with signs of urinary tract disorders.

Genetic Diversity and Population Structure of Zambian Indigenous Cattle
This study aimed at genetically profile Zambian indigenous cattle Tonga, Angoni and Barotse using DNA markers. The markers reviewed that cattle were geographical sub‐structured and no evidence of panmixia. but higher genetic diversity among and within populations.

ABSTRACT Fusarium species cause yield losses in wheat production through fusarium head blight (FHB) and the associated contamination of regulated mycotoxins, such as trichothecenes and zearalenone. Despite the widespread use of PCR‐based molecular approaches for Fusarium detection, quantification, and chemotyping, most primers were developed prior to ...

Shelterin TPP1 Promotes Hair Regeneration Through Activating Bulge Hair Follicle Stem Cells
Elongation of telomeres by increasing TPP1, through genetic and pharmacological approaches, promotes hair follicle bulge stem cell mobilization and migration, leading to accelerated telogen‐to‐anagen transition and hair regeneration. This work identifies TPP1 as a master regulator and therapeutic target for alopecia. ABSTRACT Telomere shortening drives

Impaired Renal Base Excretion in Secretin Receptor Knock‐Out Mice During Prolonged Base‐Loading
ABSTRACT Aim Secretin was recently found to play a pivotal role in the renal adaptation to acute base excess. Here, secretin increases pendrin‐dependent HCO3− secretion from the beta‐intercalated cells in the cortical collecting ducts. Whether secretin and its receptor play a role during prolonged base‐loading remains unknown.

Nectar spurs have evolved four times across the Antirrhineae. Spur development on ventral petals has been associated with floral KNOX gene expression. KNOX expression across evolutionary events suggests parallel molecular evolution of spurs. ABSTRACT Nectar spurs are tubular outgrowths of perianth tissue—a key innovation that has evolved many times ...

Intracerebroventricular injection of neuropeptide Y suppresses luteinizing hormone pulses in mice
Abstract Stress impairs reproduction, at least in part, by inhibition of Kisspeptin/Neurokinin B/Dynorphin (KNDy) cells and suppression of gonadotropin secretion. However, the mechanism for this inhibition is not clear. Neuropeptide Y (NPY) is a pleiotropic molecule that is produced in neurons throughout the brain and mediates several physiological ...

ABSTRACT Background Skin aging is characterized by the loss of collagen and elastic fibers, leading to reduced elasticity and wrinkle formation. Although skin boosters are widely used for skin rejuvenation, direct evidence of elastic fiber regeneration remains limited.
