A cobalt‐salen catalysed hydration of olefins with water is reported, resulting in Markovnikov alcohol products. The reaction proceeds rapidly under mild conditions and exhibits excellent functional group tolerance, supporting a wide range of styrenyl and non‐activated alkenes.

Vitamin D (VitD) modulates olfactory function by remodeling dendrodendritic synapses in tufted cells through vitamin D receptor‐dependent transcriptional and translational mechanisms. VitD regulates synaptic protein translation partially via mTOR signaling.

Zolpidem restores sleep and decreases amyloid in a mouse model
Abstract INTRODUCTION Deficits in non–rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep facilitate Alzheimer's disease (AD) progression. Enhancing gamma‐aminobutyric acid‐ergic (GABAergic) signaling can restore sleep. Unbiased computational analysis identified zolpidem as high‐affinity GABA receptor modulator facilitating chloride transport that could slow AD.

ABSTRACT Background Menstrual health challenges among women in the coastal area of Bangladesh are increasingly impacted by water salinity, posing significant risks to both their physical and mental well‐being. Aims This study examines the effects of water salinity on the menstrual, hormonal, physical, and mental health of women living in coastal ...

A method to simulate the Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) γ sensitivity has been developed using a Monte Carlo code. The sensitivity has been evaluated as a function of the γ energy in the range 0.1–100 MeV and for different spectra. To evaluate the response of the detector in a Large Hadron Collider (LHC) background environment the γ energy spectrum ...

ABSTRACT Human skeletal muscle is composed of highly heterogeneous single muscle fibers (multinucleated single cells) that are commonly classified as fast or slow fiber types, yet proteoform‐resolved characterization of individual human muscle fibers remains lacking. Herein, we establish a high sensitivity top–down proteomics method for the analysis of

Oxidative stress induces endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) uncoupling and L‐arginine depletion, reducing nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability in vascular endothelium and contributing to decreased retinal capillary density (RCD) in dysthyroid optic neuropathy (DON).

Single‐Particle Characterization Reveals Heterogeneous Extracellular Vesicle Fusion with Liposomes
This study used five orthogonal single‐particle techniques to compare how common mechanical methods fuse extracellular vesicles with liposomes. By quantifying fused‐particle yield, purity, and vesicle integrity, we found that freeze‐thaw and sonication generated the highest fusion but that all methods introduced membrane perturbation or damage.
