Robust object detection using a Radial Reach Filter (RRF)

Systems and Computers in Japan, 2004
AbstractIn this paper the authors report on a new algorithm used to separate an object from its background using a background image. In the past, simple background subtraction has been used because of its low processing costs and ease of implementation. However, because this method depends solely on brightness patterns in the object and shadows, it has

Structure of the chloroplast ribosome with chl-RRF and hibernation-promoting factor

Nature Plants, 2018
Oxygenic photosynthesis produces oxygen and builds a variety of organic compounds, changing the chemistry of the air, the sea and fuelling the food chain on our planet. The photochemical reactions underpinning this process in plants take place in the chloroplast.

Mitochondrial DNA mutations in RRF of healthy subjects of different age

Neurobiology of Aging, 2005
To obtain information on the mechanisms responsible of the generation of ragged red fibers (RRF) during aging, we analyzed the mitochondrial genotype of single skeletal muscle fibers of healthy individuals having an age comprised between 45 and 92 years.

Conformational activation of ribosome recycling by intra- and inter-molecular dynamics of RRF

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2020
Ribosome recycling is the final step of the cyclic process of translation, where the post-termination complex (PoTC) is disassembled by the concerted action of ribosome recycling factor (RRF) and elongation factor G (EF-G) in the sub-second time range.

RRF: A Double-Layer Reputation Mechanism with Rating Reputation Considered

2006
As reputation mechanism has been widely accepted and adopted to enhance trust in electronic communities, how to cope with the attack and disturbance problems on reputation mechanism, such as collusion, malicious or unfair rating, becomes a key challenge.

Specific binding of ribosome recycling factor (RRF) with the Escherichia coli ribosomes by BIACORE

Molecular Biology Reports, 2003
The direct assays on Biacore with immobilised RRF and purified L11 from E. coli in the flow trough have shown unspecific binding between the both proteins. The interaction of RRF with GTPase domain of E. coli ribosomes, a functionally active complex of L11 with 23S r RNA and L10.(L7/L12)4 was studied by Biacore.

Purification, crystallization and preliminary X-ray studies ofMycobacterium tuberculosisRRF

Acta Crystallographica Section D Biological Crystallography, 2004
The ribosome recycling factor from Mycobacterium tuberculosis has been crystallized. The monoclinic crystals, with 52.5% solvent content, contain one protein molecule in the asymmetric unit.

The Critical Need for Implementing RRF in the Accurate Assessment of Impurities in Peptide Therapeutics

Analytical Chemistry
The Relative Response Factor (RRF) is a critical parameter in the quantification of impurities in peptides and other pharmaceutical substances, particularly during High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis with UV detection. Impurity profiling is crucial for ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of peptide drugs.
