Factors predicting RRF loss in incident PD patients.
* adjusted for SBP, diabetes, UPCR, RRF at baseline, peritonitis rate and an excess BW gain.Abbreviations: SBP; systolic blood pressure; BMI; body mass index, RRF; residual renal function, UPCR; urine protein-to-creatinine ratio.

Objective The concern that nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may precipitate flares of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has limited their use in managing musculoskeletal symptoms in those with IBD, but safety data are mixed. Methods This retrospective cohort study included patients with IBD aged at least 18 years from Optum's deidentified ...

Ribosome recycling is not critical for translational coupling in Escherichia coli
We used ribosome profiling to characterize the biological role of ribosome recycling factor (RRF) in Escherichia coli. As expected, RRF depletion leads to enrichment of post-termination 70S complexes in 3′-UTRs.

RRF and EF-G1A function to reduce the synthesis of poly(Phe).
Representative assays depicting the effect of ribosome release factor (RRF) on the activities of EF-G1A, EF-G1B and a combination of EF-G1A and EF-G1B. A) Assays to determine the effect of RRF on the activity of EF-G1B were as described under “Methods ...

The Gut–Heart Axis in Systemic Sclerosis: Evidence From a Large Prospective Early Disease Cohort
Objective Cardiac involvement significantly impacts prognosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc), highlighting the need for early risk stratification. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common and often manifest early. Emerging data suggest a link between GI and cardiac manifestations, possibly through shared mechanisms like dysautonomia.

Frailty Predicts Incident Osteoporotic Fractures in Veterans with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is associated with an increased risk of frailty and osteoporosis, but the relationship between frailty and incident osteoporotic fractures in RA is underexplored. Methods Data were from the Veterans Affairs (VA) Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry. Frailty was measured using the VA Frailty Index (VAFI).

Reduced Reference Frame Transformation Assessment in Unbalanced Three-Phase Four-Wire Systems
Three-phase four-wire systems require a reference frame similar to that used in 3-phase 3-wire system configurations that allow them to be easily analysed, modelled and controlled.
