Orbital Magnetic Moment Controlled Converse Magnetoelectric Effect in bcc‐Co3Mn/Fe/V/PMN‐PT Multiferroic Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on orbital magnetic moment control, a material design strategy is proposed for a giant converse magnetoelectric effect in multiferroic heterostructures. This study will pioneer a promising route toward low‐power spintronic devices with an electric field.

Navigating complex choices through legitimation: Narrative strategies in risk-reduction mastectomy decision-making among unaffected women with genetic risk for breast cancer in Switzerland

open access: yesSSM: Qualitative Research in Health
For unaffected women at high risk for developing breast cancer due to pathogenic variants in BRCA1 or BRCA2 (BRCA) genes, bilateral risk-reducing mastectomy (RRM) is an alternative to intensive surveillance.

KRT14 Drives Basal Muscle‐Invasive Bladder Cancer Progression and Lung Metastasis by Directly Binding to and Stabilizing IGF2BP1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identified a Krt14+ Igf2bp1+ bladder cancer population linked to EMT. Mechanistically, KRT14 stabilizes and transports IGF2BP1 to invasive protrusions, initiating a positive feedback loop that drives metastasis and poor outcomes. ABSTRACT Basal‐type muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (BMIBC) is characterized by aggressive metastasis and poor prognosis ...

Interactions Enhance Ramp Reversal Memory in Locally Phase Separated Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials
The ramp‐reversal memory (RRM) effect in metal–insulator transition metal oxides (TMOs), a non‐volatile resistance change induced by repeated temperature cycling, has attracted considerable interest in neuromorphic computing and non‐volatile memory ...

Boosting Ferroelectricity: 2D and Polymer Ferroelectric Hybrids Enabling Ambipolar Nonvolatile MoS2 Memory Transistor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two‐dimensional CuInP2S6 nanosheets are incorporated into a P(VDF‐TrFE) matrix to induce polarization‐cooperative ferroelectric coupling. The resulting P(VDF‐TrFE)/CuInP2S6 hybrid film exhibits reinforced ferroelectric ordering and reduced coercive electric fields compared with pristine P(VDF‐TrFE).

Potential increase of the U.S. total fertility rate resulting from restorative treatment of unresolved subfertility: a simulation study

open access: yesFrontiers in Reproductive Health
BackgroundThe total fertility rate (TFR) in most developed countries has been declining for decades. In the United States (U.S.), the total fertility rate has remained below replacement level since 2007.

RBM12 Maintains Glioma Stem Cells by Activating Amino Acid‐Dependent mTORC1 Signaling via SLC7A5 mRNA Stabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that in glioma stem cells (GSCs), RBM12 recruits ALKBH5 to remove m6A from SLC7A5 transcripts, thereby enhancing mRNA stability, which elevates large neutral amino acid (LNAA) levels and activates mTORC1, promoting GSC proliferation, self‐renewal, and tumor growth.

Thermally Driven Supramolecular Chirality Evolution in Low‐Bandgap Fused‐Ring Conjugated Molecules for High‐Performance NIR Circularly Polarized Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular chirality evolution strategy in chiral low‐bandgap fused‐ring conjugated molecules enables high‐performance near‐infrared (NIR) circularly polarized light photodetection. Halogen substitution and thermal annealing induce chiral amplification and hierarchical ordering. Integrated into Schottky barrier vertical transistors, the optimized

A Phosphorylation‐Induced Micellization Switch in the Low‐Complexity Domain of TDP‐43

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phosphorylation of TAR DNA‐binding protein's 43 kDa (TDP‐43) low‐complexity domain by casein kinase 1 delta (CK1δ) acts as a molecular switch, redirecting its self‐assembly from macroscopic phase separation toward finite‐sized, spherical block‐copolymer micelles of ∼30 nm.
