Selenium‐Incorporated Polymerized Nonfullerene Acceptors/SWCNT Composites with Polymer‐Assisted n‐Doping for High‐Performance Organic Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Selenium‐incorporated polymerized nonfullerene acceptor PCB2Se forms a strong supramolecular complex with SWCNTs, enabling a record‐high zT of 0.29. Sequential N‐DMBI doping, mediated through a polymer‐assisted electron‐transfer pathway, successfully converts the PCB2Se/SWCNT composite into an efficient n‐type material with an impressive power factor ...

Polarimetric observations of $\sigma$ Orionis E

open access: yes, 2013
Some massive stars possess strong magnetic fields that confine plasma in the circumstellar environment. These \textit{magnetospheres} have been studied spectroscopically, photometrically and, more recently, interferometrically.

Direct Gravity‐Induced Modulation of Cardiac Conduction Pathways Evidenced Through Propagation Features in Electrophysiological Mapping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A high‐density wearable body‐surface potential mapping array reveals how gravity reshapes cardiac conduction in real time. By resolving spatiotemporal delay patterns invisible to conventional ECG, the platform uncovers posture‐dependent electrophysiological adaptations across the thorax.

Dynamical Simulations of Magnetically Channeled Line-Driven Stellar Winds: II. The Effects of Field-Aligned Rotation

open access: yes, 2007
Building upon our previous MHD simulation study of magnetic channeling in radiatively driven stellar winds, we examine here the additional dynamical effects of stellar {\em rotation} in the (still) 2-D axisymmetric case of an aligned dipole surface field.

HNRNPD Induces Radioresistance in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma by Sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA in Stress Granules

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...

Rapid response manufacturing (RRM) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
US industry is fighting to maintain its competitive edge in the global market place. Today markets fluctuate rapidly. Companies, to survive, have to be able to respond with quick-to-market, improved, high quality, cost efficient products. The way products are developed and brought to market can be improved and made more efficient through the proper ...

Route Choice Considering Hybrid Regret and Utility Modeling Under Big Data Context

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
There are two ways to predict and evaluate decision-makers' route choice behavior: random utility maximization (RUM) and random regret minimization (RRM).

Relaxation kinetics in two-dimensional structures

open access: yes, 2003
We have studied the approach to equilibrium of islands and pores in two dimensions. The two-regime scenario observed when islands evolve according to a set of particular rules, namely relaxation by steps at low temperature and smooth at high temperature,

Orbital Magnetic Moment Controlled Converse Magnetoelectric Effect in bcc‐Co3Mn/Fe/V/PMN‐PT Multiferroic Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on orbital magnetic moment control, a material design strategy is proposed for a giant converse magnetoelectric effect in multiferroic heterostructures. This study will pioneer a promising route toward low‐power spintronic devices with an electric field.

Effect of carbonization on chloride penetration in rapid repair mortar derived from solid waste-based CSA cement

open access: yesCase Studies in Construction Materials
The development of highly corrosion-resistant rapid repair mortar (RRM) for marine concrete is of great importance, particularly given the significant role that Cl- corrosion plays in the deterioration of marine construction materials.
