DNA Scission by Non‐Histidine Amino‐Terminal Cu(II) and Ni(II) Binding‐Like Peptides

Non‐His amino‐terminal Cu(II) and Ni(II) binding (ATCUN)‐like peptides containing Ala and Asp instead of His form Cu(II)/Ni(II) complexes and induce oxidative plasmid DNA scission.
