Arylstibonic acids [H8(RSb)12O28]; precursors to organometallic isopolyoxostibonates [Na2H9(RSb)12O30]−, (R = aryl) [PDF]
Electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry shows that arylstibonic acids, RSbO(3)H(2), give rise to oxo-bridged clusters derived from [H(8)(RSb)(12)O(28)] which act as inorganic crown ligands towards Na(+) cations; structure determination of one derivative revealed a cage-like anion [Na(2)H(9)(p-O(2)NC(6)H(4)Sb)(12)O(30).4H(2)O](-).

Frozen 1‐RSB structure of the symmetric Ising perceptron [PDF]
AbstractWe prove, under an assumption on the critical points of a real‐valued function, that the symmetric Ising perceptron exhibits the ‘frozen 1‐RSB’ structure conjectured by Krauth and Mézard in the physics literature; that is, typical solutions of the model lie in clusters of vanishing entropy density.

Rectus sheath block for acute pain management after robot-assisted prostatectomy
Background: Robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) is a favored surgical approach for treating prostate cancer. However, RALP does not decrease postoperative pain significantly despite its minimal invasiveness.

RSB decoupling property of MAP estimators [PDF]
The large-system decoupling property of a MAP estimator is studied when it estimates the i.i.d. vector $\boldsymbol{x}$ from the observation $\boldsymbol{y}=\mathbf{A}\boldsymbol{x}+\boldsymbol{z}$ with $\mathbf{A}$ being chosen from a wide range of matrix ensembles, and the noise vector $\boldsymbol{z}$ being i.i.d. and Gaussian.

Risky Sexual Behavior Profiles in Youth: Associations With Borderline Personality Features
Adolescence and young adulthood are peak periods for risky sexual behaviors (RSB) and borderline personality disorder (BPD) features. RSB is a major public health concern and adolescents with BPD may be particularly vulnerable to RSB, but this is ...
