Assessing Spatiotemporal Changes and Drivers of Ecological Quality in Youjiang River Valley Using RSEI and Random Forest

open access: yesLand
Assessing ecological quality in mining areas is critical for environmental protection and sustainable resource management. However, most previous studies concentrate on large-scale analysis, overlooking fine-scale assessment in mining areas. To address this issue, this study proposed a novel analysis framework for mining areas by integrating high ...

Toward Sustainable Mining Landscapes: Evaluating Spatiotemporal Changes and Driving Mechanisms of Eco-Environmental Quality in Central China

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Understanding the interaction of climate, topography, soil, and anthropogenic factors on remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) is helpful to reveal the feedback mechanism of mining disturbance in response to environmental conditions and climate change ...

Assessing subtle changes in arid land river basin ecological quality: A study utilizing the PIE engine platform and RSEI

open access: yesEcological Indicators
The ecological environment in arid regions is fragile, with its quality highly sensitive to human activities. The ecological quality (EQ) of arid land river basins is crucial for the populations living within and the overall societal development. This study examines the characteristics and driving factors of EQ changes in a typical arid land river ...

基于RSEI模型的黄河流域生态演变及驱动力

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao

The improvement of ecological environment index model RSEI

Arabian Journal of Geosciences, 2020
Protecting the ecological environment is an important goal of the world sustainable development. Rapid and quantitative evaluation of regional ecological environment is the technical support and necessary condition for this goal. The ecological environment index model (RSEI) which used to assess ecological environment is the most popular now.

Merons in a generality convariant model with a Grsey term

Letters in Mathematical Physics, 1984
We study meron solutions of the generally covariant and Weyl invariant fermionic model with a Gursey term. We found that, due to the presence of this term, merons can exist even without the cosmological constant. This is a new feature compared to previously-studied models.
