PSLite Online: A Portable, Modern Web Application to Analyze Top-Down Mass Spectrometry Fragmentation Data. [PDF]
ABSTRACT PSLite Online is a modern, web‐based application designed to facilitate the analysis of top‐down mass spectrometry fragmentation data, particularly for targeted proteoform studies. As a successor to the Windows‐only ProSight Lite, PSLite Online retains and expands upon its core functionalities while offering platform independence and enhanced ...

Implementation of ARTiS, an Asymmetric Real-Time Extension of SMP Linux [PDF]
ARTiS is a real-time extension of GNU/Linux dedicated to SMP systems (Symmetric Multi-Processors). ARTiS divides the CPUs of an SMP system into two sets: real-time CPUs and non real-time CPUs.

The stack resource protocol based on real time transactions [PDF]
Current hard real time (HRT) kernels have their timely behaviour guaranteed at the cost of a rather restrictive use of the available resources. This makes current HRT scheduling techniques inadequate for use in a multimedia environment where one can ...

New Insights Into the Real-Time Performance of a Multicore Processor
Multicore processors are gaining popularity in various domains because of their potential for maximizing system throughput of average-case tasks. In real-time systems, where processes and tasks are governed by stringent temporal constraints, the worst ...

An Implementation of Visual Servo System on RT-Linux.
This paper describes the implementation issues of visual servo controller on a Linux-based real-time operating system. The Linux operating system is a Unix-like multi-user multi-task operating system and it is distributed freely. The real-time linux module adds a capability for hard real-time functionality, that is necessary for robot control, to Linux.

Optimal control design for robust fuzzy friction compensation in a robot joint [PDF]
This paper presents a methodology for the compensation of nonlinear friction in a robot joint structure based on a fuzzy local modeling technique. To enhance the tracking performance of the robot joint, a dynamic model is derived from the local physical ...
