A Bayesian approach to translators' reliability assessment [PDF]
Translation Quality Assessment (TQA) is a process conducted by human translators and is widely used, both for estimating the performance of (increasingly used) Machine Translation, and for finding an agreement between translation providers and their customers.

The study evaluated the function and therapeutic implications of PRAME in basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The findings demonstrate that PRAME impairs keratinocyte differentiation pathways. Furthermore, PRAME impairs anticancer response to retinoid compounds in BCC and SCC cells.

Evaluation of synaptotagmin‐1 action models by all‐atom molecular dynamics simulations
We used molecular dynamics simulations to test models proposing that synaptotagmin‐1 facilitates membrane fusion by perturbing lipid bilayers, inducing membrane curvature and/or bridging membranes. The simulations show that synaptotagmin‐1 C2‐domains placed near the site of fusion hinder the ability of SNARE complexes to bring the membranes together ...

Cinema as a form of composition
Technique and creativity Having been called upon to provide a contribution to a publication dedicated to “Techne”, I feel it is fitting to start from the theme of technique, given that for too many years now, we have fruitlessly attempted to understand

ATLASLang NMT: Arabic text language into Arabic sign language neural machine translation
ATLASLang is a machine translation system from Arabic text language into Arabic sign language (ArSL). The first version of the system (Brour and Benabbou, 2019) is based on two approaches: rule-based Interlingua and example-based approaches.

Can neural machine translation do simultaneous translation? [PDF]
We investigate the potential of attention-based neural machine translation in simultaneous translation. We introduce a novel decoding algorithm, called simultaneous greedy decoding, that allows an existing neural machine translation model to begin translating before a full source sentence is received.

Tulu Language Text Recognition and Translation
Language is a primary means of communication, but it is not the only means; knowing a language does, however, assist speed up the process. Many distinct languages are spoken worldwide, and people use them to communicate.
