A New Approach to the Rule-Base Evidential Reasoning with Application

2015
In this paper, a new approach to the rule-base evidential reasoning (RBER) based on a new formulation of fuzzy rules is presented. We have shown that the traditional fuzzy logic rules lose an important information when dealing with the intersecting fuzzy classes, e.g., such as Low and Medium, and this property may lead to the controversial results.

Rule-Based Behavioral Reasoning on Semantic Business Processes

2012
We propose a rule-based framework for representing and reasoning about business processes from both the procedural and ontological point of views. To this end we define a rule-based procedural semantics for a relevant fragment of BPMN, a very popular graphical notation for specifying business processes.

A Rule-based Language for Probabilistic Reasoning

2000
This paper suggests a rule-based logical language for probabilistic reasoning. This language is more expressive than the traditional propositional logic. It is particularly suited for reasoning with belief networks as its semantics explicitly captures the inherent conditional independencies.
