Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

Alternative View of Inextensible Flows of Curves and Ruled Surfaces via Alternative Frame
In this paper, we present the evolutions of ruled surfaces generated by the principal normal, the principal normal’s derivative, and the Darboux vector fields along a space curve that are the elements of an alternative frame.

Some properties of the line of striction of a ruled surface [PDF]
1. It is known that (i) the line of striction of a ruled surface is the locus of points at which the geodesic curvatures of the orthogonal trajectories of the generators vanish, (ii) if at each point of a curve C on a surface, a tangent to the surface is

A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

New type surfaces in terms of B-Smarandache Curves in Sol3
In this work, new type ruled surfaces in terms of B- Smarandache TM1 curves of biharmonic B- slant helices in the SOL3 are studied. We characterize the B- Smarandache TM1 curves in terms of their Bishop curvatures.

Timelike Constant Axis Ruled Surface Family in Minkowski 3-Space
A timelike (TL) constant axis ruled surface in E13 (Minkowski 3-space), as determined by its ruling, forms a constant dual angle with its Disteli-axis (striction axis or curvature axis).

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.
