Ruled Surfaces in 3-Dimensional Riemannian Manifolds

In this work, ruled surfaces in 3-dimensional Riemannian manifolds are studied. We determine the expressions for the extrinsic and sectional curvatures of a parametrized ruled surface, where the former one is shown to be non-positive.
