Simultaneous Developability of Partner Ruled Surfaces according to Darboux Frame in E3

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2021
In this paper, we introduce original definitions of Partner ruled surfaces according to the Darboux frame of a curve lying on an arbitrary regular surface in E3.

PSEUDO-MINIMALITY AND RULED SURFACES [PDF]

open access: yesVestnik Tomskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta. Matematika i mekhanika, 2020
This paper is a follow-up to the author's series of works about shape modeling for an orthotropic elastic material that takes an equilibrium form inside the area with the specified boundaries. V.M. Gryanik and V.I. Loman, based on thin shell equilibrium equations, solved about 30 years ago a similar problem for an isotropic mesh attached to rigid ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Influence of the geometrical researches of ruled surfaces on design of unique structures

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2019
Aims of research. Due to the growing interest in the design, calculation and application of architectural structures and structures in the form of a variety of smooth and composite surfaces, it is interesting to illustrate the use of analytical surfaces,

ON RULED SURFACES IN MINKOWSKl SPACES [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2003
Summary: We study ruled surfaces in Minkowski space, which admit 1-type Gauss map. In particular, non-cylindric-al ruled surfaces with finite type Gauss map are of \(k\)-type (\(k\geq2\)).

Cell geometry and membrane protein crowding constrain Escherichia coli growth rate, overflow metabolism, respiration, and maintenance energy

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

Shaping of Spatial Steel Rod Structures Based on a Hyperbolic Paraboloid

open access: yesArchives of Civil Engineering, 2018
The aim of the study was to develop a practical approach to parametric shaping of spatial steel rod structures formed based on a hyperbolic paraboloid.

CHAMBER STRUCTURE OF POLARIZATIONS AND THE MODULI OF STABLE SHEAVES ON A RULED SURFACE [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
In this paper we shall generalize the chamber structure of polarizations defined by Qin, and as an application we shall compute the Picard groups of moduli spaces of stable sheaves on a non-rational ruled surface.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Smarandache-Based Ruled Surfaces with the Darboux Vector According to Frenet Frame in $E^3$

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2022
The paper introduces a new kind of special ruled surface. The base of each ruled surface is taken to be one of the Smarandache curves of a given curve according to Frenet frame, and the generator (ruling) is chosen to be the corresponding unit Darboux ...
