Abstract Neonatal lamb mortality has a profoundly negative impact on animal welfare and represents significant waste to farming businesses. This case report outlines an approach to addressing high neonatal lamb mortality in a commercial lowland sheep flock.

Lower jaw fracture in a Zebu × Brown Swiss calf due to attack by domestic dogs (Canis familiaris)
Abstract The objective of this report is to describe the case of a calf attacked by domestic dogs, which caused an incomplete fracture of the left lower jaw, resulting in bone exposure within the oral cavity. Clinical evolution is described 3 months post‐attack. The exposed portion of the fractured bone was removed, as well as two small bone fragments.
