Effects of Mesenchymal Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes on Lung Inflammation in a Murine Aspiration Model
The Laryngoscope, Volume 136, Issue 7, Page 3097-3102, July 2026.This study assessed the effect of intravenous MSC‐derived exosomes on inflammatory lung injury in a rat model of LPS aspiration. Compared with LPS alone, MSC exosome treatment reduced histologic lung injury overall (significant group effect p = 0.02; linear trend p = 0.006) and significantly lowered Tnf gene expression on qRT‐PCR (p < 0.05).
