Chromatin Profiling in Mouse Embryonic Germ Cells by CUT&RUN

2020
Cleavage under targets and release using nuclease (CUT&RUN) allows the chromatin profiling of proteins of interest for which specific antibodies are available. Because it is performed on intact chromatin in situ, CUT&RUN provides exceptional signal over background, making it an ideal choice for chromatin profiling on primary cells available at limited ...

A profiling tool for apache hive run-time query

2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC), 2017
Apache Hive is a tool used conventionally for data warehousing and analysis. Although it is widely used, there is very less research on performance comparison and analysis. One of the reasons is, the techniques applied to supervise execution cannot be implemented to intermediate MapReduce code developed from Hive query.

A Kinematic Profile of the Approach Run of Novice Long Jumpers

Journal of Applied Biomechanics, 1995
This study determined the kinematics of the final 11 steps of the long jump approach (LJA) for 19 novice long jumpers. Associations between takeoff accuracy and jump performance were identified, and comparisons of LJA kinematics were made with previous investigations of horizontal jumps performed by expert long jumpers.

Towards a UML Profile for Building on Top of Running Software

2011
Currently, fewer and fewer applications are developed from scratch. Therefore, with any development process, it is very important to determine during the analysis and design phases whether there are any applications that must be safeguarded and how this could be accomplished.

The Force–Velocity Profiling Concept for Sprint Running Is a Dead End

International Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance
Purpose: In this commentary, I present arguments against the use of the force–velocity profiling concept in design and adaptations of training programs targeting sprinting. The purpose of this commentary is to make sports practitioners more aware of the rationale behind the concept and explain why it does not work.
