Runway Occupancy Time as Element of Runway Capacity
A great many factors determine airside capacity. In the firstgroup are those factors correlated with characteristics of manoeuvringarea such as number, layout and location of runwaysand taxiways. In the following group there are elements correlatedwith flight operations such as arrival, departure, touchand go operations and also the factors related to ...

Pavement skid resistance properties for safe aircraft operations
Airport pavement engineers are required to maintain pavement skid resistance at a satisfactory level to minimize the likelihood of runway excursions. Runway overruns and skidding along rapid exit taxiways are the two most frequently encountered forms of ...

Variational Autoencoder+Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient addresses low‐light failures of infrared depth sensing for indoor robot navigation. Stage 1 pretrains an attention‐enhanced Variational Autoencoder (Convolutional Block Attention Module+Feature Pyramid Network) to map dark depth frames to a well‐lit reconstruction, yielding a 128‐D latent code ...

Electrohydrodynamic Fiber Pump With Dual‐Flow Channels
A dual‐channel electrohydrodynamic (EHD) fiber pump is introduced, which enables fluid flow inside and outside fully exposed helical electrodes. The dual‐channel design significantly enhances flow rate, pressure, and efficiency compared with the conventional design.

ABSTRACT Disparities in Assistive Technology (AT) access exist for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples despite recent policy reforms. This paper brings together First Nations and Western academic ways of being, knowing and doing to deliver an AT practice analysis based upon primary data from two research reports into the cultural safety of AT
