Rehabilitation in Cases of Maxillary Lateral Incisor Agenesis Using Zirconia Implant and Abutment: Finite Element Analysis and Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The use of narrow‐diameter implants has emerged as a strategy to compensate for the reduced bone dimensions of maxillary lateral incisor agenesis (MLIA). This study integrates finite element analysis (FEA) and systematic review (SR) to assess the biomechanical and clinical viability of implant‐supported crowns in MLIA scenarios ...

What do we (need to) know about low-susceptibility of codling moth against Cydia pomonella granulovirus (CpGV)! [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In 2005, the first codling moth (CM) populations with a reduced susceptibility to Cydia pomonella granulovi-rus (CpGV) products have been observed. This phenomenon might be an indicator of an emerging resis-tance of CM to CpGV. This paper summarizes some

ODD-PARITY BANDS OF Ru-108,Ru-110,Ru-112

open access: yes, 2009
Two similar sets of odd-parity bands are observed in each of three eveneven neighbors, 108, 110, 112Ru, from a study of prompt spontaneous-fission gamma rays at Gammasphere. A careful study of the odd-parity levels of these nuclei shows evidence for the features of chiral doubling. Comparisons are made with reported other candidates for chiral doubling.
