Modeling the microgrid based on the Russky Island power network [PDF]
The paper presents a model of the campus micro-grid of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) located on Russky Island. This microgrid is connected to the Island power system as well. The resulting network is unique as it can operate either in parallel with the mainland energy system or it can be completely isolated.

Application of Gramians method for smart grid investigations on the example of the Russky Island power network [PDF]
The paper deals with a method of stability investigation for Smart Grid on the example of the Russky Island power network at the end of continental Russia in the Pacific region. The new forms of cross-Gramians and Gramians of controllability and observability for both finite and infinite time were used for the investigation. The software package MATLAB/

Impact of Ice Rain on Forests of Russky Island
Russian Journal of EcologyHazardous weather events, which are increasing in frequency with global climate change, pose a threat to forest ecosystems over large areas. Heavy and destructive icy rain occurred in the south of Primorye on November 19, 2020. As a result of the breaking of branches and trunks on the territory of Russky Island, which is part of the Vladivostok urban ...

Abstract Diatom and pollen analyses of paleolake sediments allowed assessment of the natural and anthropogenic factors that affected the local landscape evolution over the last 7500 cal yr on Russky Island in South Far East of Russia. Eight stages in lagoon development mainly controlled by sea level fluctuations were inferred.

The features of the fixation of humus substances by particle-size fractions of soil for the main types of burozems of the Russky Island are characterized. It is shown that the diagnostic indicator of the morphological diversity of island burozems soils, reflecting the different intensity of the development of accumulative-humus and illuvial-humus ...
