Forest Age and Plant Species Composition Determine the Soil Fungal Community Composition in a Chinese Subtropical Forest.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2013
Fungal diversity and community composition are mainly related to soil and vegetation factors. However, the relative contribution of the different drivers remains largely unexplored, especially in subtropical forest ecosystems.

Study of Russulaceae : toxicity and creation of identification cards

open access: yes, 2017
We estimate in France the number of different fungi at 30 000. This high number of different species requires the mushroom picker and consumer to be extremely vigilant. He must respect the general rules of good picking and must make a correct identification to avoid poisoning.
