Diagnostic Yield of EBUS Mediastinal Cryobiopsy Versus TBNA in Suspected Lymphoproliferative Disorders: A Prospective Multicentre Study

open access: yesRespirology, EarlyView.
We assessed the diagnostic yield of EBUS‐guided transbronchial mediastinal cryobiopsy (EBUS‐TBMC) compared with EBUS‐transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS‐TBNA) in patients with suspected mediastinal lymphoproliferative disorders (LPDs). EBUS‐TBMC was superior to EBUS‐TBNA and achieved a high diagnostic yield in patients with suspected mediastinal ...

Learning Trajectories for Constructing Mechanistic Explanations and the Role Played by Epistemic Knowledge

open access: yesScience Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Explaining scientific phenomena by unpacking their underlying mechanisms poses many challenges for high‐school students. One central challenge is synthesizing the different parts of a mechanism into a coherent whole and identifying what information is still missing, or whether further learning is required.

Liquid Crystal Polymers as Intrinsically Magnetic and Programmable Soft Materials for Microrobotics

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Liquid crystal polymers (LCPs) are proposed as intrinsically magnetic, programmable, soft materials for microrobotics. Magnetic torque‐driven manipulation of LCP microobjects is achieved and characterized in terms of the step‐out frequency, reaching ∼0.6 Hz in a ∼250 mT magnetic field. The orientation of LCP microobjects in the magnetic field and their

Recycling End‐of‐Life Solid Oxide Cell Interconnect Assemblies into Commercial‐Grade AISI 304 Stainless Steels

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
This study validates a recycling pathway for converting interconnect assemblies from end‐of‐life SOC stacks into commercial‐grade AISI 304 steels. Using scrap‐based steelmaking operations, austenitic cast steels with <4.0% δ‐ferrite are successfully produced.
