First Demonstration of Enhanced Cu-Cu Bonding at Low Temperature With Ruthenium Passivation Layer

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this work, we studied the characteristics of Cu-Cu bonding with a ruthenium passivation layer at low temperatures. It is confirmed that the ruthenium passivation layer is effective in preventing the formation of native copper oxide, and diffusion of ...

Ruthenium Complexes as NO Donors for Vascular Relaxation Induction

open access: yesMolecules, 2014
Nitric oxide (NO) donors are substances that can release NO. Vascular relaxation induction is among the several functions of NO, and the administration of NO donors is a pharmacological alternative to treat hypertension.

Maximized Energy Density of RuO2//RuO2 Supercapacitors through Potential Dependence of Specific Capacitance

open access: yesChemElectroChem, 2020
In this study, a stepwise cyclic voltammetry approach was proposed to clarify the potential dependence of specific capacitance for reduced graphene oxide and ruthenium oxide electrodes. Based on the relationship between specific capacitance and potential,

Support‐Controlled Reaction Pathways via Dynamic Sulfur‐Mediated Interfaces for Selective Urea Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sulfur‐doped graphitized carbon nanofibers act as adaptive catalyst–support platforms, enabling dynamic sulfur‐mediated reconstruction and strong metal–support interactions. This unique behavior enhances catalyst stability and controls reaction pathways, achieving highly selective urea oxidation (∼92% N2) coupled with efficient hydrogen evolution ...

Tracking the correlation between spintronic structure and oxygen evolution reaction mechanism of cobalt-ruthenium-based electrocatalyst

open access: yesNature Communications
Regulating the spintronic structure of electrocatalysts can improve the oxygen evolution reaction performance efficiently. Nonetheless, the effects of tuning the spintronic structure for the oxygen evolution reaction mechanisms have rarely been discussed.
