High seroprevalence of Rift Valley fever virus antibodies (47.9%) in small ruminants in Maiduguri indicates substantial past exposure. Age, sex, and residence in flood‐prone areas were significant risk factors, highlighting the need for targeted surveillance and vector control to reduce livestock and public health impacts.

ABSTRACT The impact of Mycoplasma contaminations on in vitro test systems has been extensively discussed and in vitro studies have demonstrated various effects on the physiology of the contaminated cell line. Thus far, little is known about the effect of biologically active substances, such as viruses produced in contaminated cell lines on primary ...

RNF213 is characterized as a dual‐functional antiviral effector. It directly mediates the degradation of the influenza A virus nucleoprotein (NP) while simultaneously activating the MDA5‐mediated innate immune signaling pathway. This coordinated response establishes a powerful host defense system against viral infection. ABSTRACT Influenza A virus (IAV)

Knowledge mapping of risk mitigation measures against vector‐borne diseases
Abstract A comprehensive synthesis of current evidence on surveillance, prevention and control measures for 25 selected vector‐borne diseases (VBDs) affecting animals in the EU is presented here. The assessment integrates evidence from systematic literature reviews, modelling studies, field investigations and expert judgement.

Adaptive cell mediated immunity in RVFV-infected goats.
Means of PBMC IFN-γ response from IN-RVFV-infected goats are represented by the open histograms and MAM-RVFV infected goats by the filled histograms. Error bars represent standard deviation of means (n = 4 goats each).
