Efeito de diferentes diluidores na congelação e pós-descongelação de sêmen bubalino, submetido ao teste de termo-resistência

Foram analisadas 139 amostras de sêmen congelado, obtidas de quatro touros bubalinos mestiços Jafarabadi x Murrah, com três anos de idade, durante os meses de janeiro a novembro de 1990. O sêmen foi colhido semanalmente e avaliado microscopicamente, quanto às características físicas de turbilhonamento, concentração, motilidade e vigor.

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3

Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

Meta‐GWAS of Pig Semen Quality Traits Reveals Conserved Genes Regulating Mammalian Fertility

This study incorporated 14 210 individuals to perform a GWAS meta‐analysis of six semen quality traits. The GWAS meta‐analysis identifies 234 GWAS loci associated with semen quality traits. The incorporation with a functional genomics resource explains potential genetic regulation of ∼40% GWAS signals underlying semen quality traits.
