A new S-box pattern generation based on chaotic enhanced logistic map: case of 5-bit S-box
Cryptography plays consistently an essential role in securing any sort of communications or data broadcast over the network. Since the security of any designed block cipher algorithm is related to its Substitution box (S-box), several efforts have been ...

NEW ARCHITECTURE OF LOW AREA AES S-BOX/ INV S-BOX USING VLSI IMPLEMENTATION
The Substitution box (S-box) is one of the core of Advanced Encryption System (AES) implementation and the only non-linear transformation. It is consumed most of the power in AES hardware. This paper present a low-complexity design methodology for the S-box/ InvS-box which includes minimising the comprehensive circuit size and critical path delay ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

A note on some algebraic trapdoors for block ciphers
We provide sufficient conditions to guarantee that a translation based cipher is not vulnerable with respect to the partition-based trapdoor. This trapdoor has been introduced, recently, by Bannier et al.

Research on area-efficient low-entropy masking scheme for AES
Based on the rotating S-box masking (RSM) proposed by Nassar et al,a low-entropy masking scheme for the advanced encryption standard (AES) was proposed.Reducing the area complexity by reusing the S-boxes,improving the hardware security by shuffling ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve
