Derivation of bounds of several kinds of operators via (s,m) $(s,m)$-convexity

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
The objective of this paper is to derive the bounds of fractional and conformable integral operators for (s,m) $(s,m)$-convex functions in a unified form.

Extensions of Ostrowski Type Inequalities via h-Integrals and s-Convexity

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, Hölder, Minkowski, and power mean inequalities are used to establish Ostrowski type inequalities for s-convex functions via h-calculus. The new inequalities are generalized versions of Ostrowski type inequalities available in literature.

FIRST NOTE ON THE SHAPE OF $S$-CONVEXITY [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Pure and Apllied Mathematics, 2014
In this note we copy the work we presented on Second Note on the Shape of S-convexity [1], but apply the reasoning to one of the new limiting lines, limiting lines we presented on Summary and Importance of the Results Involving the Definition of S-Convexity [2].

Stochastically Generated Digital Twins of 3D Solid‐State Electrolyte Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A stochastic model and validation suite were developed to produce the highest fidelity computer‐generated (Digital Twin) microstructures of random porous tape‐cast solid‐state battery architectures across µm to mm feature sizes from FIB‐SEM to X‐Ray µCT, respectively.

Giant Electrostriction in Halide Perovskites Revisited With Double‐Modulation Interferometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A giant electrostrictive effect in lead halide perovskites had been reported previously. This work uses sensitive interferometry to measure the electromechanical response of various halide perovskite samples. The results reveal no intrinsic electrostrictive compression. Instead, the materials expand primarily under an applied electric field as a result

The Best Bounds in Gautschi-Kershaw Inequalities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
By employing the convolution theorem of Laplace transforms, some asymptotic formulas and integral representations of the gamma, psi and polygamma functions, and other analytic techniques, this note provides an alternative proof of a monotonicity and ...

Mechanically Mutable Matrices: A Hierarchical Investigation of Decellularized Sea Cucumber Collagen as an Adaptable Scaffold Material

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sea cucumber mutable collagenous tissue (MCT) is a remarkable collagen‐based material which can rapidly undergo large changes in stiffness through transiently bound effector proteins. Here, we investigate the hierarchical structure and mechanical response of MCT from Cucumaria frondosa across length scales with a wide range of methods, also exploring ...

Logarithmic Convexity of the One-Parameter Mean Values [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this article, the logarithmic convexity of the one-parameter mean values J(r) and the monotonicity of the product J(r)J(−r) with r Є R are presented. Some more general results are established.

Small sets in convex geometry and formal independence over ZFC

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2005
To each closed subset S of a finite-dimensional Euclidean space corresponds a σ-ideal of sets 𝒥 (S) which is σ-generated over S by the convex subsets of S. The set-theoretic properties of this ideal hold geometric information about the set.
