THE HADAMARD INEQUALITIES FOR s-CONVEX FUNCTIONS IN THE SECOND SENSE

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 1999
Let \(0< s\leq 1\). The function \(f: I\subset[0, \infty)\to \mathbb{R}\) is called \(s\)-convex in the second sense provided \(f(au+ bv)\leq a^sf(u)+ b^sf(v)\) for all \(u,v\in I\), \(a,b\geq 0\), \(a+ b=1\). These functions have been introduced by \textit{H. Hudzik} and \textit{L. Maligranda} [Aequationes Math. 48, No.

Tomographic Printing in a Chip: A Versatile Platform for Biomimetic 3D Organ‐on‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A novel light‐based bioprinting approach, TVAM‐in‐a‐chip, enables rapid, contactless fabrication of biomimetic 3D organ‐on‐chip devices directly within preassembled microfluidic platforms. This strategy supports diverse materials, including cell‐laden resins, and eliminates post‐assembly steps.

Azaporphyrinoid‐Based Photo‐ and Electroactive Architectures for Advanced Functional Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A long‐standing collaboration between the Torres and Guldi groups has yielded diverse azaporphyrinoid‐based donor‐acceptor nanohybrids with promising applications in solar energy conversion. This conspectus highlights key molecular platforms and structure‐function relationships that govern light and charge management, supporting the rational design of ...

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

M♮-convexity, S-convexity, and their applications in operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Many problems in operations management are embedded with substitute structures which often result in parametric optimization models maximizing submodular objective functions, and it is desirable to derive structural properties including monotone ...

Corrected Euler-Maclaurin-type inequalities for twice differentiable and h-convex functions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
In this study, we establish Corrected Euler-Maclaurin-type inequalities for h-convex functions using Riemann-Liouville fractional operators on the cone of twice-differentiable functions.

Fejer inequality for s-convex functions in the fourth sense

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Inequalities, 2022
The authors consider the Fejer inequality for \(s\)-convex functions in the fourth sense. Some integral inequalities related to Fejer inequalities are presented. Finally, as applications, the bound functions are obtained for the Gauss error function, the incomplete gamma function and Fresnel integrals.

Ferromagnetism of Molecular Beam Epitaxy‐grown Ultra‐thin Cr2Ge2Te6 Films Down to the Monolayer Limit on Si Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Uniform monolayer Cr2Ge2Te6 films are achieved on Si substrates by molecular beam epitaxy. Intrinsic ferromagnetism with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy is established in the films by anomalous Hall effect and superconducting quantum interference device measurements, albeit with strong magnetic fluctuations characteristic of its 2D nature.

2-convexity and 2-concavity in Schatten ideals. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The properties p-convexity and q-concavity are fundamental in the study of Banach sequence spaces (see [L-TzII]), and in recent years have been shown to be of great significance in the theory of the corresponding Schatten ideals ([G-TJ], [LP-P] and many ...
