A High Directivity Microstrip Coupler Based on Reflective Resistors [PDF]
In this paper, a novel high-directivity microstrip coupler based on reflective resistors is presented. The proposed coupler consists of three pairs of coupled-line sections and one pair of resistors.

Doppler Spread in Reverberation Chamber Predicted From Measurements During Step-Wise Stationary Stirring [PDF]
We propose a simple method to accurately predict Doppler spread in a reverberation chamber (RC) by using frequency domain S-parameters measured with a vector network analyzer (VNA) at many fixed stirrer positions (step-wise stationary mode).

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Evaluation of Thermoplastic Vulcanizates in Radomes
The present paper evaluates a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) of polypropylene (PP) and nitrile rubber (NBR), with and without carbon nanotube (CNT), with a potential application in structures that protect radar antennas, radomes. Morphological analysis,

Synthesis of coupling matrix for lossy filter networks [PDF]
A generalized method for the synthesis of lossy microwave filters is given in this paper. An equation on the polynomials of S parameters is given to replace the power conservation.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Impedance Matching Optimization of RF Networks
The subject of this publication is a synthesized description of an S-parameter linear analysis for the improvement of a particular RF amplifier. The model is applied in a simulation environment as a 100–500 MHz two-port device under test with control of ...

Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna-Based Sensors for Liquid Chemical Detection
A compact, cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA), using radio frequency signals to identify different liquids is proposed in this paper. The proposed CDRA sensor is excited by a rectangular slot through a 3-mm-wide microstrip line.

Contactless electromagnetic measuring system using conventional calibration algorithms to determine scattering parameters [PDF]
In this paper, a contactless measuring system for the determination of the S-parameters of planar circuits is presented. With a contactless measuring system it is possible to characterise a device-under-test (DUT) embedded in a planar circuit environment
