Highly Reversible Zinc Anode Enabled by a Thiourea‐Derived Protective Layer for Alkaline Zinc Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ZnS/carbon nitride (ZnS/CN) protective coating is constructed on Zn anodes via ultrasonic spray coating, enabling uniform and stable Zn stripping/plating, suppressing dendrite formation, and mitigating parasitic side reactions, resulting in a prolonged cycling lifespan and high reversibility of the Zn anode in alkaline Zn–air batteries. ABSTRACT Zinc‐

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Evaluation of Some Novel Trisubstituted s-Triazine Derivatives Based on Isatinimino, Sulphonamido, and Azacarbazole

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2013
A study directed towards exploring the temperature-dependent reactivity of the chlorine atoms of 2,4,6-trichloro-s-triazine (TCT) in the nucleophilic displacement reaction, allowed a facile replacement of its chlorine atoms in succession with (i) N ...

Investigation on the Stability of Derivative Melam from Melamine Pyrolysis under High Pressure

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2018
Although various kinds of carbon nitride precursors have been proposed, s-triazine-based structures are hardly reported because of their unfavorable energy, higher than that of heptazine-based ones.

Unconstrained Coordination of Pt Single Atoms on Distorted g‐C3N4 Enables Electronic Flexibility and Enhanced Microplastics Photoreforming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals Pt single atoms anchored on distorted graphitic carbon nitride, exhibiting flexible coordination and enhanced interfacial charge transfer. Combined spectroscopy and DFT reveal asymmetric Pt─N environments that promote photoreforming of microplastics into hydrogen, demonstrating a solar‐driven pathway for plastic upcycling with ...

Construction of 1,3,5-Triazine-Based Prisms and Their Enhanced Solid-State Emissions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
In this study, two trigonal prisms based on the 1,3,5-triazine motif (SA and SB), distinguished by hydrophobic groups, were prepared by the self-assembly of tritopic terpyridine ligands and Zn(II) ions.

Furfuryl Alcohol‐Driven Proton Supply Enables Efficient Photocatalytic H2O2 Production Beyond Water‐Based Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ZnIn2S4–carbon dot heterojunction enables photocatalytic H2O2 production coupled with furfuryl alcohol oxidation. In this redox system, furfuryl alcohol acts as both the electron donor and oxidation substrate, producing furoic acid with 100% selectivity and 98% conversion while supporting efficient H2O2 generation with a solar‐to‐chemical conversion (

Planar Chiral Carbazole‐Naphthalene Bisimide Hetero‐Cyclophane for Circularly Polarized Delayed Fluorescence

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Tightly stacked carbazole and 1,2:5,6–naphthalene bisimide units afforded a planar chiral hetero‐cyclophane. The architecturally refined system, with strong charge‐transfer interaction and enhanced structural rigidity, exhibits orange‐red delayed CPL emission in both solution and solid states.

Theoretical Studies on the Mechanism of the Azido-Tetrazole of Azido-s-triazine

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2015
The B3LYP/aug-cc-pvDZ level of theory has been applied to the study of the molecular structures, electronic structures and the azido-tetrazole isomerization of 1-azido-s-triazine, 1,3-diazido-s-triazine and 1,3,5-triazido-s-triazine.

Sorption of four s-triazine herbicides on natural zeolite and clay mineral materials with microporosity

open access: yesFundamental Research, 2021
Sorption is an important process that controls the fate and transport of herbicides in the soil and aquifer environment. However, sorption of these pollutants on natural microporous mineral materials has received little attention. This study investigated

Water‐Enabled Ultralong Full‐Color Organic Phosphorescence in Hydrogen‐Bonded Frameworks for 4D Encryption and Bio‐Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Water‐induced quenching challenges organic RTP materials, but a counter‐intuitive strategy employs HOF to encapsulate carbonyl guests, where water functions as a structural reinforcer. This achieves water‐enhanced ultralong RTP with full‐color emission (blue to deep red), overcoming intracellular quenching for high‐signal cellular imaging, alongside 4D
