Oxygen Ion Percentage Inferred From the Cutoff Frequencies of Ionospheric ELF Hiss Emissions

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 15, 16 August 2026.
Abstract The lower cutoff frequency of hiss emissions observed in the ionosphere is controlled by local plasma composition and density. This study identifies 6,340 ionospheric hiss wave events based on observations from the China Seismo‐Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES‐01) from 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2020.

Methane Emissions From Wildfires: Trends and Anomalies

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 15, 16 August 2026.
Abstract Wildfires emit smoke particles and trace gases including greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, impacting the environment and leading to detrimental impacts on human health and economy. The estimation of spatially and temporally resolved methane emissions from biomass burning (BB) provides critical information in developing measurement‐informed

Optimizing safety and efficacy of asparaginase and blinatumomab therapy in frontline acute lymphoblastic leukemia regimens in diverse health care settings—international expert consensus

open access: yesCancer, Volume 132, Issue 16, 15 August 2026.
ABSTRACT Frontline blinatumomab combined with chemotherapy has resulted in improved outcomes in both pediatric and adult patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is considered the new cornerstone of acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment. The role of asparaginase in this new landscape of acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment was extensively ...

Sugar Amino Acid Linkers for the Design of [18F]SiFA‐PSMA Radioligands

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 15, 14 August 2026.
Sugar amino acid (SAA) linkers were incorporated into silicon‐fluoride‐acceptor (SiFA)‐prostate‐specific membrane antigen (PSMA) radioligands to modulate pharmacokinetic properties while preserving efficient 18F isotopic exchange radiolabeling. Furanose‐based SAAs outperformed pyranose analogues, enabling specific tumor visualization by PET despite ...

Repurposing a machine QA platform for medical physics residency management

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Background Medical physics residency programs require reliable systems for organizing rotation files, documenting educational activities, recording competency sign‐offs, and monitoring resident progression. Current residency standards from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP) require clearly defined ...

Mechanically Spatio‐Chimeric Fibrin Assembly Enables Vascular‐Integrated Muscle Reconstruction for Volumetric Muscle Loss Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
SPARC (spatio‐chimeric, plasma‐based, anisotropic, and shear‐responsive construct) that integrates myogenic and vascular microenvironments within a single construct. The dual‐modulus matrix directs aligned myotube formation and endothelial network development, enabling a vascularized muscle implant that seamlessly anastomoses with host tissue and ...
