Molecular Electrocatalysis Coupled With a Palladium Membrane Reactor Affords Selective Nitrogen Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A palladium membrane reactor delivers active hydrogen to homogeneous nickel terpyridine catalysts, which then selectively hydrogenate dinitrogen to ammonia. ABSTRACT Ammonia production is a cornerstone of modern industry and society, yet the conventional Haber–Bosch process accounts for nearly 2% of the global CO2 emissions. A promising and potentially

Low‐Threshold Red Lasing in Diketopyrrolopyrrole‐Based Organic Semiconductor Films

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Low‐threshold organic semiconductor lasers (OSLs) in the red region are achieved using diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) derivatives (DPA‐DPPMe and HMAT‐d‐DPP). Molecular design enables precise control of radiative‐decay and molecular orientation, suppressing optical losses and enhancing gain.
